The titantic
The Titanic sank on the 14th April 1912 because it hit an iceberg. Everyone was very surprised because people said that it would never sink, but it did. Main facts; 1,500 died but only about 705 people survived. It sank in the Atlantic Ocean.
The Titanic was built April 30th 1907, in Belfast, Ireland by the White Star Line Company. It took 3,000 people to build it and three years to build. There were two other sister ships called Olympic and Britanic.
The Titanic was three football fields long and seventeen storeys high. There were over eight hundred rooms, two libraries, one heated swimming pool, four elevators, gym and 2 barber shops.
The Titanic used eight hundred tonnes of coal a day and could go twenty seven miles per hour.
The Titanic is still at the bottom of the sea.

Cats
I researched domestic cats. I found out that there were lots of types of breeds of cats. Here are some; Siamese, Birman, Scottish Shorthair, Persian and Siberian, but there are lots more. You can have a cat as your pet in your house. Cats are Mamils because they are warm blooded and they have kittens they dont have eggs.
The first cat was born in Ancient Egypt. The United States has the most cats with 76,480,000.
Cats are all different in some way. Cats have flexible bodies, very sharp teeth and also retractable claws.
The least common colour for cats is lilac or lavender and the most common colour of cats is black or grey tabby.
Cats have a great sense of smell and vision but cats can see less colour than humans.
In New Zealand cats have no enemies but dogs can chase them around a bit.
Kittens ears and eyes are sealed up when they are born. So they
spend their first few weeks with their mother.
Cats are meat eaters, they eat lots of types of meat. They also get cat biscuits that are in shapes.
I didn't know that most cats don't have eyelashes and can turn their ears halfway round.
I enjoyed learning about domestic cats.

My PBL Service
My PBL Service
What I did for my PBL service was helping my mum and dad clean out the garage. I helped by lifting the scoters and lying on the ground. It was really fun. I felt really pleased that I helped dad. I thought that he really liked it. I have also been helping my brother do the gareding i was pulling out all the weeds. I had to wear gloves so I didn't hurt myself. my gloves are green. I was also helping mum by doing some baking we were baking muffins, a date cake and some bicults they all were really good and yummy.
