Grit and perseverance is about believing in yourself and not going to give up if something is hard. We had to use any digital tool to create something about what grit and perseverance is and three things in your life when you have showed grit and perseverance.

Kia Ora, Welcome back to my blog. So today I am going to be showing you my happiness book I made. We were learning about the four brain chemicals and also about happiness. It is ok to be sad sometimes. The four brain chemicals are serotonin, dophine, endorphins and Oxycontin. They all mean different things. You could choose to do non-fiction which is true about the brain chemicals or you could do fiction which is about true happiness. I choose to do fiction about true happiness. You had to make a slide showing a kid in Kakono what true happiness is and then you make like a book explaing it to them. I also choose to do motes so they can listen as well. Here is mine. Kia Ora, Welcome back to my blog. So Today I am going to be showing you my house of bricks reflection. On Friday we had House of Bricks come it is a lego project and you can build some things and also there were a few challenges. The rotations were pass the bricks, The moaska and the car activity were you have to build your own car and see which would go the furthest down the ramp. The C's that we are learning about is Character and collaboration. Here is my My House of Bricks Reflation!!
What Is you favourite thing to build with Lego?
My favourite Lego activity was the mosaics because you got to choose lots of different colours of lego.
I chose the colourful one with all the different colours and you could choose what you wanted to build and it was really cool when you could spin it.
A lot of people did different designs like reflections.
My least favourite Lego activity was passing the bricks.
I tried to build a pool and then when it came back it was a pool but it was all uneven and
I didn’t really like it.
People had put pieces on I did not like.
The activity that tested my perseverance the most was the car race thing.
Because you only had a certain amount of time and when we tested it.
It was not really working out.
The most challenging activity was the race car again.
Because I was so nervous that we would not get our car finished and it would just break but it didn’t.
Next time we could of done it a wee bit differently.
I enjoyed working collaboratively with others because they all had different ideas for my lego creation.
When it came back to me a lot of people had ideas that I did not think of.

Umbrella
Early one miserable morning, the door to Miss Elem’s Home For Children opened wide.
The girl with the sunflower yellow umbrella, tip-toed cautiously before she entered the orphanage before finding a home for her umbrella.
Not wanting to be seen.
Boris quickly whipped his poked his head around the door frame so that he was hidden from view. Standing off to the side the girl observed the happy scene while the children searched in the box for old and hidden treasures.
The girl looked so exited as she watched the young boy race around the room like a roller coaster.
Her smile Quickly vanished as she looked back at the umbrella stand and all she saw was puddles. Her beloved umbrella had vanished and was nowhere to be found.
